📋 Description

• Help shape the Marketplace Health Engine • Design and deliver scalable systems improving marketplace efficiency, provider utilization, and patient access at scale • Partner with Engineering, Product, Data, and Operations • Identify and address marketplace challenges • Drive technical strategy across the Marketplace organization • Mentor engineers • Influence key technical decisions while remaining hands-on in software development • Build systems from the ground up • Solve complex marketplace problems • Drive projects from discovery and design through implementation, launch, and post-launch support

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of related professional software engineering experience building scalable distributed systems • Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams and influencing technical strategy without direct authority • Experience designing and building backend services, APIs, and data-intensive systems • Experience with AWS preferred • Experience partnering with Product and Data to deliver business outcomes • Experience solving complex marketplace, platform, or large-scale operational problems with measurable impact • Strong communication skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders around a shared vision • Experience driving projects end-to-end from discovery and design through implementation, launch, and post-launch support • Start-up experience preferred • Experience developing SaaS applications using AWS preferred • On-call experience and ability to independently resolve complex issues preferred • Experience with NodeJs, Typescript, and Kafka preferred • Experience with products having high reliability/accuracy requirements preferred • Must be based in the United States; currently not hiring in Hawaii
