📋 Description

• Run the day-to-day finance and people operations of a fast-growing fintech company • Send invoices to 250+ customers through Ignition, track collections, and follow up on past-due accounts • Manage vendor invoices and ensure timely payment • Administer payroll and benefits in Rippling, including onboarding, offboarding, and deductions accuracy • Support month-end close through bank reconciliations, prepaid schedules, accruals, and benefits expense reconciliation • Manage multi-state payroll registrations and maintain state compliance as the team grows • Maintain HR records and compliance with employment regulations across remote-first headcount • Provide ad hoc support to the VP of Finance on reporting, audits, and operational projects • Own finance and HR processes end to end

🎯 Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in accounting, HR administration, or finance operations at a startup, tech company, or fintech • Hands-on experience with Rippling (HR, payroll, or benefits modules) • Proficiency in QuickBooks or a comparable cloud accounting platform • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills • A track record of owning processes independently, not just executing tasks assigned by a manager • Comfort handling sensitive data with discretion • Clear, professional written communication • You know what a cap table is, or you're curious enough to figure it out • Applicants must be based in the U.S.
