📋 Description

• Develop APIs and control plane software for the DNS Products team • Troubleshoot and improve the customer experience • Help own product offerings end-to-end • Implement, test, and optimize scalable services and tools addressing performance and monitoring problems • Collaborate with Networking teams to build next-generation products and services for developers • Support existing products and develop creative solutions to customer pain points • Improve tooling and processes for shipping robust, mission-critical ecosystem components • Establish development and architecture best practices • Use technologies including Go, Consul, Kafka, SQL, Chef, Git, Jira, gRPC, Prometheus, Grafana, Lightstep, Docker, DNS, and Kubernetes • Report to the Engineering Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing and developing full-stack applications with databases and API • Experience leading work across multiple teams to build API contracts • Experience deploying and operating Linux (Ubuntu)-based virtual and bare metal hosts • Experience with Go programming language and unit tests • Some experience designing and developing high-performance systems • Domain knowledge of DNS and networking stack or strong willingness to learn • Experience with cloud development, containerization, and virtualization • Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) • B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or relevant and equivalent experience • Bonus: Experience using gRPC to build robust distributed and high-demand systems • Bonus: Working knowledge of Temporal and Kafka
