📋 Description

• Process payroll accurately and on time for approximately 400+ employees in multiple entities and pay groups • Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve payroll-related issues promptly and professionally • Process new hires, employee terminations, pay rate changes, promotions, and other payroll transactions • Perform payroll audits to identify and resolve discrepancies before payroll is finalized • Administer wage garnishments, tax levies, benefit deductions, and other payroll withholdings • Reconcile payroll reports and ensure payroll records are accurate and complete • Support quarter-end and year-end payroll activities, including tax reporting and audits • Prepare payroll reports and maintain payroll documentation in accordance with company policies • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations • Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Benefits, and Accounting to ensure accurate employee data and payroll processing • Assist with payroll process improvements and support system enhancements that increase efficiency and accuracy • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee payroll information

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience or a similar payroll-focused role • Experience processing payroll for a mid-sized organization • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax withholdings, garnishments, and payroll compliance • Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms • Experience with Rippling preferred; Rippling experience is a plus • Advanced proficiency in Google Suite products, including Google Sheets • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (Fundamentals in Payroll Certification) certification is a plus but not required • Reliable personal laptop or desktop computer required before start date • Quality headset for virtual meetings and calls required before start date • High-speed internet connection required before start date
