📋 Description

• Guide development and modernization of critical customer information operational data stores • Lead development of data pathways between internal and external systems, especially integrations with identity and access management services • Govern application design, architecture input, modern technologies, development techniques, and sustainable technology patterns • Ensure security and compliance for data and services stored and passed by systems • Lead development of new technologies using best practices and coach junior team members • Govern vendor teams to achieve the technical vision, minimize technical debt, and ensure productive, predictable partner output • Serve as domain technical expert for business and technology teams • Understand desired business outcomes and guide solutions toward effective implementation • Communicate progress, roadblocks, and opportunities across organizational levels • Participate in cross-functional teams to define, refine, evangelize, and support technical best practices • Define and develop DevOps best practices, including production support and deployment processes • Troubleshoot critical production issues • Plan short-term sprint-to-sprint and long-term multi-PI initiatives and organize work toward target-state solution blueprints • Design and develop end-to-end solutions for customer profile operational data stores and staging environments, managing dependencies and cross-team impacts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience preferred • 5–7 years required software delivery experience in an agile environment • 7+ years desired software delivery experience • Proven experience developing enterprise, web, and/or mobile applications • Experience delivering applications at scale through agile frameworks such as SAFe • Strong experience developing and interfacing with database technologies; Oracle and MongoDB preferred • Strong DevOps foundation, including CI/CD, quality, security, and performance automation • Expertise in cloud technologies and platforms, including Azure and AWS • Knowledge of data networking • Experience with relational and document databases and PL/SQL • Experience with Oracle database performance improvement and optimization is a plus • Experience developing for OAuth and integrating IAM platforms preferred • Experience in Web Component Development for J2EE Platform and Java 2 Platform preferred • Experience working with REST and SOAP-based web services preferred • Experience with Postman, SOAPUI, and Mockito preferred • Excellent organization and planning skills; ability to multitask • Self-directed, results-oriented, and able to independently handle multiple priorities • May require a background check due to routine access to proprietary DIRECTV and customer data • Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered in accordance with local ordinances and state law • Ability to travel 5%
