Dockwa is a marina management software platform that helps marinas and marina operators run their businesses more efficiently by centralizing reservations, digital contracts, billing/payments, point-of-sale and fuel dock operations, inventory and slip/space management, CRM, and revenue tools. The platform connects marinas with boaters via an online booking and leads network, offers mobile apps, integrations, and reporting to grow occupancy, streamline operations, and improve guest experience.

📋 Description

• Build software marina operators use to run their businesses • Build and maintain the boater app • Own problems end-to-end: scoping, design, implementation, deployment, and post-deployment outcomes • Make consequential product and engineering decisions early • Work across reservations, payments and money movement, dock and slip management, rent roll, boater CRM, service and work orders, accounting integrations, native iOS, and multi-currency • Read and improve unfamiliar code in a twelve-year-old system carrying live payment traffic • Help decide what gets built, not just implement predetermined requirements • Collaborate with product managers, support teammates, and marina operators • Participate in a small, lean engineering team focused on shipping quality software quickly

🎯 Requirements

• Production web applications you shipped and then owned, not just contributed to • Real AI fluency with receipts; work you could not have delivered without it • Comfort across a full stack • Ability to read and improve unfamiliar code without proposing a rewrite • Ability to write clearly enough to explain technical tradeoffs to a PM, support teammate, or marina operator • Nice-to-have: payments and money movement experience, including Stripe or Stripe Connect, ACH, settlement, reconciliation, and multi-currency • Nice-to-have: vertical SaaS or B2B software experience for physical-business operators • Nice-to-have: international product work involving currency, localization, tax, and compliance • Nice-to-have: AWS experience beyond EC2 and S3, including queuing, caching, and background jobs at scale • Nice-to-have: experience on a small team where you were on call for what you built
