📋 Description

• Contribute to the creative design and visual storytelling behind IonQ's financial narratives • Craft story-driven presentations for the CFO and senior executives for financially and technically sophisticated audiences • Partner with the CFO, Head of Investor Relations, centralized IonQ Brand team, and technical leaders • Present to and collaborate with senior executives • Translate complex financial data and concepts into clear, compelling slides and charts • Help investors and analysts understand technical roadmaps, performance metrics, and financials • Connect IonQ's technology milestones to messaging for investors and financial analysts • Grasp unfamiliar technical content quickly and distill it into meaningful visuals • Create cohesive experiences across investor events, including presentation content, invitations, emails, web and IR portal assets, signage, and on-site materials • Build and maintain templates, chart libraries, and common systems for IR and Finance teams • Use AI for design prompting, efficiency, and learning while maintaining high quality standards

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of professional experience in visual design, presentation design, or visual communication in a fast-paced environment • Portfolio demonstrating design fundamentals across presentation, digital, and print media, with ability to articulate process rationale • Exceptional proficiency in PowerPoint presentation design • Mastery of Figma • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator • Experience presenting creative proposals and rationale to senior executives • Comfort navigating stakeholder feedback and ambiguity • Ability to grasp unfamiliar technical or financial content and distill it into clear visuals • Excellent time and project management skills, including triaging competing priorities and handling high volume without sacrificing quality • Familiarity with AI principles for design, including prompting, efficiency, and responsible use • Demonstrated discretion with sensitive and confidential information, including material non-public information • Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum due to applicable export control laws and regulations • Preferred: Prior experience supporting Investor Relations, corporate finance, or a public company's earnings cycle • Preferred: Motion graphics capability in After Effects or comparable tools • Preferred: Experience with Claude Design and AI tools beyond image generation • Preferred: Experience with design systems, asset libraries, and documentation • Preferred: Strong editorial instinct • Preferred: Executive presentation coaching • Preferred: Familiarity with web and UI/UX principles, responsiveness, accessibility, and CMS tools • Preferred: Passion for emerging technology and financial communication
