📋 Description

• Architect, provision, and maintain production-grade Google Cloud Platform infrastructure using Terraform • Build and standardize GitHub Actions and Cloud Build CI/CD pipelines • Enable safe zero-downtime canary and blue-green deployments • Implement centralized logging, tracing, and metric alerts through Google Cloud Operations Suite • Support 99.9% platform uptime and sub-second API latencies • Enforce least-privilege IAM, manage KMS keys and secrets, implement Cloud Armor DDoS/WAF policies, and monitor cloud resource utilization • Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput, fault-tolerant REST and webhook-driven microservices • Build bi-directional API synchronizations with Microsoft Dynamics 365, CRM and transaction systems, payment gateways, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Entra ID • Architect caching and event-streaming patterns using Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, and Memorystore (Redis) • Collaborate with partner engineering squads, review partner pull requests, align shared codebases, and absorb operational handoffs • Extract logic, schemas, and data structures from legacy applications and migrate workflows to native GCP serverless infrastructure • Build reusable microservice components, data connectors, and SDKs for future platform initiatives • Share responsibility for GCP, Terraform, CI/CD, IAM, Cloud Run, and observability with the Principal Engineer • Act as primary backup to the Principal Engineer for infrastructure, CI/CD, and partner code review • Maintain shared runbooks and participate in the on-call rotation

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in cloud infrastructure, backend API development, and distributed systems • Proven track record building and running production workloads on Google Cloud Platform • Production backend services in Node.js/TypeScript or Python • Modular Terraform for multi-environment enterprise cloud estates • Automated testing, Docker, and GitOps workflows in modern CI/CD tools • Experience building integrations with enterprise systems, including ERPs such as Dynamics 365 or NetSuite, enterprise CRMs, transaction and document workflow systems, and payment gateways • Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and JWT • Go as a production backend language (preferred) • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including Cloud SQL/PostgreSQL/MySQL, Firestore/MongoDB, and Redis (preferred) • Entra ID / Google Workspace federation at enterprise scale (preferred) • Experience in real estate tech, proptech, fintech, or commission-based transaction platforms (preferred) • Experience migrating workloads from Microsoft Azure or AWS to GCP (preferred) • Exposure to headless CMS and composable web architectures such as Sanity and Next.js (preferred) • Familiarity with AI/LLM tool-calling APIs or vector databases such as Vertex AI and Cloud Vector Search (preferred) • Familiarity with event streaming into cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery (preferred) • High ownership and pragmatism • Collaborative approach with internal stakeholders and external technical consultants • Ability to maintain architectural documentation, API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger, and deployment runbooks
