📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of an Internal Developer Platform integrated with AI/ML workflows • Create ChatOps interfaces, self-service tools, and automation frameworks for infrastructure provisioning, service management, and code deployment • Build standardized services, templates, and APIs for cloud-based application development • Design and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure and network architectures • Ensure AWS environments are scalable, cost-efficient, resilient, highly available, and disaster-ready • Establish cost management, performance optimization, and resource utilization best practices across AWS accounts • Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines • Automate CI/CD pipelines with Generative AI for secure, scalable AI applications • Automate platform lifecycle management, including environment provisioning, monitoring setup, and scaling strategies • Implement security policies, governance controls, and compliance practices • Automate security checks within CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning • Implement monitoring and observability solutions and build dashboards and alerting systems • Lead incident management, root-cause analysis, postmortems, and performance tuning • Mentor engineering teams on platform engineering, cloud architecture, and service deployment • Drive technical decisions and provide leadership on platform architecture and infrastructure scalability • Partner with DevOps, Security, Product, and Engineering teams on cloud infrastructure and platform initiatives • Communicate platform strategies and roadmaps to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders • Act as a technical advisor for short-term platform needs and long-term scalability

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields • 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud architecture, or related fields • At least 7 years focused on AWS Cloud • Extensive experience building and managing Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), with a focus on automation, self-service workflows, and CI/CD • Proven track record designing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale cloud platforms using AWS services • Hands-on experience in AI/ML infrastructure, tools, and frameworks, and evaluating their adoption • Extensive experience designing and implementing complex AWS network architectures and security solutions • Experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, VPC, and IAM • Experience with ChatOps interfaces, self-service tools, and automation frameworks • Experience with standardized services, templates, and APIs • Experience using AI for automated log analysis, anomaly detection, and root-cause identification • Experience translating natural language requests into IaC or environment configurations • Experience optimizing infrastructure for AI model deployment • Experience with LLMs, vector databases, and GPU infrastructure • Experience designing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD • Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK • Experience implementing security controls for IAM, network security, data encryption, and audit logging • Experience with compliance standards such as SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA • Experience with observability tools including CloudWatch, X-Ray, AWS CloudTrail, Prometheus, and Grafana • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent certifications preferred • Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA) or similar certification preferred • Familiarity with service mesh technologies or API gateways preferred • Experience with serverless architectures preferred • Experience managing multi-region or multi-cloud AWS environments preferred • Expertise in cloud migrations and legacy system modernization preferred • Ideally based in Pacific Time Zone and able to collaborate with the China team Monday through Thursday from 4 pm–7 pm PT
