📋 Description

• Design and implement critical features and platform components through active coding • Own technical architecture decisions, including system design, service boundaries, data modelling, and API contracts • Lead code and design reviews, set the technical bar, and coach engineers • Resolve complex engineering challenges, performance bottlenecks, and cross-cutting concerns • Drive adoption of TDD, CI/CD, observability, and security-by-design • Lead a small agile team by running sprints, setting goals, unblocking engineers, and managing delivery commitments • Mentor and develop engineers through 1:1s, feedback, and pair programming • Collaborate with Product and Operations to refine roadmaps and translate requirements into technical plans • Hire and onboard engineering talent in partnership with leadership • Lead adoption of AI development tools and build internal best practices • Identify opportunities to embed AI/ML capabilities into the Radiant platform • Evaluate emerging AI tools and help define an AI strategy roadmap for engineering

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including production systems at scale • Expert-level C# and .NET Framework and Core • Strong SQL and Microsoft SQL Server skills • Experience with ASP.NET Web API, React, and modern JavaScript frameworks • Proven experience designing concurrent, scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems • Solid OOP fundamentals and design patterns • Experience with message brokers such as MQTT and RabbitMQ • TDD mindset with strong unit and integration testing practices • 3+ years in a technical lead or senior engineering lead role with direct team ownership • Ability to manage people, run agile processes, and deliver complex software projects • Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and drive to advance AI adoption in engineering teams • Strong communication of technical decisions to engineers and business stakeholders • Preferred: AWS or other cloud platforms, Docker/Kubernetes, Redis, NHibernate or Dapper, IoT protocols, RFID/BLE/GPS technologies, and ML model integration or AI-powered feature development
