📋 Description

• Prepare, audit, and process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll for clinical, administrative, and field staff across multiple locations. • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, deductions, and benefits. • Maintain compliance with healthcare-specific labor regulations, wage and hour laws, and union agreements (if applicable). • Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for Finance and HR leadership. • Support quarterly and year-end payroll functions, including W-2s and tax filings. • Maintain payroll records in HRIS/payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee data. • Identify and implement process improvements to increase payroll efficiency and accuracy. • Serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related questions from staff, providing clear and timely resolutions. • Educate employees on payroll policies, timesheet procedures, and paycheck details. • Partner with HR to ensure new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, and status changes are accurately reflected in payroll. • Work with Finance to reconcile payroll accounts and assist with audits.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. • 2–4 years of payroll processing experience (healthcare industry experience strongly preferred). • Familiarity with multi-state payroll, FLSA, and healthcare-specific scheduling/pay rules (on-call pay, shift differentials, etc.). • Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, UKG, Paycom, or similar HRIS/payroll platforms). • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • High attention to detail with strong confidentiality and compliance focus. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting. • ADP experience strongly preferred. • Strong communication and customer service skills when working with employees and leadership. • Candidates must disclose any current or future need for employment-based immigration sponsorship before an offer of employment is extended.
