📋 Description

• Serve as the lead technical advisor on strategic, high-value sales opportunities • Partner with Sales to develop and execute technical strategies throughout the sales cycle • Build executive-level technical credibility with CIOs, CTOs, Enterprise Architects, and IT leaders • Conduct technical discovery sessions covering business objectives, technology landscapes, integration requirements, and modernization initiatives • Design future-state solution architectures and phased implementation roadmaps • Develop and present architecture diagrams, integration strategies, and deployment approaches • Lead technical objection handling involving architecture, security, integration, scalability, and implementation • Deliver tailored product demonstrations focused on customer use cases and business outcomes • Design and develop proof-of-concept environments, prototypes, and technical validations • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Sales • Develop technical recommendations supported by ROI analysis, total cost of ownership, implementation considerations, and measurable outcomes • Advise on AI, AI agents, APIs, webhooks, iPaaS, automation, cloud architectures, and enterprise commerce ecosystems • Document technical requirements, solution designs, architectural decisions, integrations, assumptions, and customer expectations for presales-to-implementation transition

🎯 Requirements

• Expert knowledge of enterprise solution architecture, cloud applications, APIs, event-driven architectures, web services, iPaaS, and enterprise software ecosystems • Ability to architect complex technical solutions and translate technical concepts into business value for executive audiences • Strong financial and analytical skills, including business cases, ROI analyses, TCO models, and value realization strategies • Exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation, and executive engagement skills • Creative, pragmatic problem-solving skills and cross-functional collaboration ability • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience • 12+ years of experience in enterprise software presales, solution engineering, solution architecture, technical consulting, or similar customer-facing technical roles • Experience supporting complex mid-market and enterprise software sales opportunities • Expertise designing enterprise architectures involving APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, and distributed application ecosystems • Experience creating architecture diagrams, integration strategies, implementation roadmaps, and solution proposals • Strong understanding of AI, LLMs, AI agents, APIs, webhooks, automation platforms, and modern application architectures • Experience delivering executive presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements • Proven cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success • Experience in Retail, Automotive, Commerce, ERP, POS, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, or related enterprise software industries • Knowledge of omnichannel retail, eCommerce ecosystems, payments, order management, logistics, warehouse operations, delivery management, returns management, and complementary commerce technologies • Hands-on software development or implementation experience • Experience with cloud platforms, integration technologies, and iPaaS solutions • Experience supporting multi-million-dollar enterprise software opportunities
