📋 Description

• Own technical solution requirements for enterprise-wide data-driven information systems • Create technical designs, product and vendor selections, application architectures, and technical architectures • Provide technology and platform subject matter expertise and lead technical decision processes • Own complex technology implementations and continuously reengineer and refactor systems • Align technical design and architecture with business growth and direction • Contribute to product roadmaps, backlogs, success criteria, and user stories • Maintain systems and solutions architecture for large data processing and reporting systems • Design complex data, data-centric application, and Big Data cloud architecture solutions • Develop solutions using Agile, AnalyticOps, DataOps, and DevSecOps hyper-automation methodologies • Lead continuous innovation and improvement for projects or programs • Serve as final-tier subject matter expert while remaining directly engaged in execution • Collaborate with the program Chief Architect and potentially augment the Deputy Chief Architect role for AI implementation and adoption • Lead and manage individuals and teams through coaching, mentoring, 1:1 meetings, and career growth support • Configure enterprise platforms involving AI feature management, governance, and model orchestration • Maintain full-lifecycle AI governance frameworks covering policy, risk, bias/fairness, audit logging, transparency, immutability, and compliance • Integrate platforms with CI/CD pipelines, identity/access controls, APIs, repositories, and monitoring systems • Implement secure enterprise deployment models for PII/PHI, access control, and authorization • Train teams and customer end users, develop onboarding and adoption materials, and lead workshops • Build consensus among data science, DevSecOps, compliance, business, and end-user stakeholders • Evaluate and recommend generative AI, LLM, and agentic frameworks • Design, prototype, and iterate AI agent workflows and proofs of concept • Track emerging generative AI and agentic technologies, tools, vendors, and practices • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or another related scientific or technical discipline • Alternatively, ten years of general information technology experience and at least four years of specialized experience; degree not required • Minimum 10 years leading system architecture of complex cloud-based Data Pipeline and Analytics systems • 6+ years of hands-on data-centric software development and complex architecture design experience • Strong software engineering experience with engineering best practices and iterative/continuous engineering principles • Experience with Databricks, Hadoop, EMR, Spark, Redshift, or similar technologies • Experience applying AI/ML technologies, including generative AI, LLMs, or model orchestration, within enterprise-scale architectures • Experience with data augmentation, data quality analysis, data analytics, data profiling, data algorithms, data maturity models, and data strategy • Experience designing secure data solutions involving PHI and PII and associated governance • Experience collaborating with customers and stakeholders to present solutions and drive adoption • Experience designing cost-optimized, scalable cloud solutions • Experience resolving architecture issues affecting scalability and performance of large-scale systems and datasets • Experience with rapid prototyping and greenfield project creation • Experience aligning consensus across multiple interested or affected groups • Diverse, outcomes-driven consulting experience across client environments • Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence • Excellent verbal and written communication • Experience working in an Agile or SAFe environment • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust • Must reside in the United States • Desired: Medicare, Medicaid, healthcare, commercial insurance, or CMS experience • Desired: Databricks, Python, R, and/or AWS certifications • Desired: Applied AI outcomes with meaningful and measurable improvements or planned outcomes • Desired: AI/ML architecture design and implementation certifications or training • Desired: Generative AI application development or deployment, including LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic workflows • Desired: AI orchestration and vector database tooling such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, or Pinecone • Desired: Experience evaluating or piloting MCP, A2A, or similar AI agent protocols and standards • Expected availability from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed
