📋 Description

• Lead the design and development of software solutions for commercial and government clients using Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI • Provide mentorship and technical guidance, fostering professional growth within the team • Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives • Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and Agile methodologies are followed • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality • Advocate for adoption of emerging technologies to enhance project outcomes • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams and projects

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong technical foundation • Expertise in Python and Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI • Experience with microservices architecture, containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS • Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation • Strong knowledge of object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, and testing strategies • Strong knowledge of database design, ORMs such as SQLAlchemy or Django, and SQL/NoSQL databases • Strong knowledge of implementing secure programming practices • Proficiency in Git-based workflows and software development lifecycle management • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience leading teams and mentoring developers in a consulting or technical environment • Preferred: understanding of trunk-based development practices such as feature flags • Preferred: knowledge of application observability instrumentation • Preferred: experience with DevOps and Continuous Delivery tools such as Jenkins, Harness, GitLab CI/CD, AWS Lambda, or Terraform • Preferred: familiarity with GenAI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and GitHub Copilot • Preferred: familiarity with data engineering tools such as Pandas, NumPy, Spark, and Airflow
