📋 Description

• Manage all aspects of the Solutions Engineering team within the Healthcare vertical, focused on technical sales • Establish objectives and work plans and delegate assignments • Ensure the SE organization is fit for purpose to meet F5 company goals • Conduct performance evaluations, approve paid time off, assign work, provide training and guidance, manage performance improvement plans, take disciplinary action, and interview candidates • Define objectives, strategy, and priorities for engineers • Plan quarterly and yearly headcount with management • Manage candidate recruitment with HR • Develop organizational communication, teamwork, technical development, and professional development • Maintain an effective SE partner plan • Scale the SE organization to meet objectives • Develop retention, recognition, compensation, and career planning • Develop skills assessment and job planning • Drive product requirements and business units • Identify market trends and communicate them to product and development teams • Ensure customer success and drive customer support awareness through escalation plans • Manage customer and partner relationships, post-sales issues, and escalations • Present F5 strategy, solution messaging, and roadmap • Understand customer requirements and challenges and present relevant F5 solutions • Analyze business strategy and competition • Provide product feasibility analysis supporting sales efforts

🎯 Requirements

• BS or BA degree required or relevant work experience • Experience managing technical SEs in a management role • Thorough understanding of networking technologies and application delivery • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills • Ability to articulate complex technologies • Self-motivated with ability to persuade direct reports and others outside the organization • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within an organization • Must uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and promptly report violations
