• Manage efforts to analyze and enhance Ferguson’s marketplace position for civil sitework solutions • Increase awareness of Ferguson Geo/Stormwater products through tradeshows, conferences, meetings, and presentations • Prepare and present technical presentations throughout the assigned geography • Research local green infrastructure codes and build targeted sales strategies for municipalities and developers • Engage end users, engineering firms, and contractors in person to support project opportunities and expand product awareness • Coordinate and manage projects through the specification process with engineering, design, and project management teams • Support national growth initiatives of the Geosynthetics and Stormwater Management team • Assist contractors and municipalities with installation and maintenance practices, including pre-bid, pre-construction, and post-construction meetings • Co-manage sales revenues with the Geo Storm Associate, managers, and vendor partners • Provide timely feedback on pending projects and sales, including pipeline tracking
• Must live in or near Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, or Maine • B.S. in Civil Engineering or engineering license, preferred • 3+ years’ experience with innovative products in the Geosynthetics and Stormwater Management space, preferred • Prior technical writing experience, including proposals, emails, and submittals, required • Competent and engaging public speaker • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft applications and navigating multiple software systems, required • Basic reporting experience using Excel, including sorting, filtering, and data compilation, required • Prior Salesforce CRM use is a bonus but not required • Demonstrated relationship-building, customer service, and interpersonal skills, required • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and multitask while balancing multiple urgent requests • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Ability to communicate ideas in technical and user-friendly language • Ability to travel regularly within the designated region/geography for meetings and site visits
