📋 Description

• Lead all phases of data processing system projects, from requirements definition through installation • Lead technical efforts in developing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems • Develop test plans, software, and procedures to improve processing capabilities • Support production systems by resolving complex issues and ensuring ongoing functionality • Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines; standardize and drive process adoption • Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible • Identify and automate manual processes through operational and development scripting • Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting tools; perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues • Implement security best practices and tools throughout the software development lifecycle • Collaborate with development, QA, Application Security, Governance, and IT teams • Implement and manage Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration • Evaluate and improve department systems, processes, and applications • Construct modules, develop testing methods, design materials, estimate feature timelines, and implement system changes • Execute test plans to validate application functions • Collect user-request data, determine scope and time estimates, and assess system impacts • Review business and programming specifications, code, test plans, documentation, and implementation plans • Provide technical support for production systems, anticipate maintenance needs, and ensure end-user functionality • Draft system, end-user, and operational documentation • Participate in complex software development lifecycle activities and serve as a technical resource for management, associates, and business units • Provide 24/7 on-call support through rotations • Provide technical leadership to less experienced associates

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related disciplines • 6+ years of experience architecting, developing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines using GitLab • 5+ years of experience implementing DevSecOps practices, security controls, and automated compliance checks within CI/CD pipelines • Experience developing automation solutions using Python, Bash, and other scripting languages • Knowledge of major tech stacks of modern application development • Experience developing build processes for Java, .NET, iOS, and Android, and automating deployment processes for OpenShift and VMs • Knowledge of AWS and Azure is a plus • Hands-on experience in Linux environments (RHEL), Ansible, writing playbooks, deploying artifacts, configuring monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace), tool upgrades, patching and migrations, and security vulnerability remediation • Experience automating deployment and release processes across OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, virtual machines, and cloud environments • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning and DevSecOps tool deployments • Deep knowledge of security scans and experience implementing them as part of the CI/CD pipeline • Experience working with cross-functional teams including App Security, Application Engineering, Quality Automation Engineering, and Infrastructure teams • Experience migrating applications from one SCM to another • Working experience with Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm • Experience with enterprise systems tools and processes including AWS stack, JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Nexus, Artifactory, Snyk, and SonarQube • 24/7 on-call availability via rotations
