📋 Description

• Define the technical vision, long-term architecture, and engineering roadmap for DNA Platforms • Lead solution design, architecture reviews, and technical decision-making for complex, multi-team initiatives • Design scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable software platforms using distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native architecture patterns • Guide modernization efforts, platform engineering practices, automation, tooling, and CI/CD adoption • Establish engineering standards, design principles, technical governance, and measurable practices for software quality, observability, performance, reliability, and security • Manage, coach, and develop engineers and engineering managers through regular feedback, technical guidance, and performance conversations • Lead technical forums, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing practices across geographically distributed teams • Partner with engineering leaders, product leaders, architects, and business stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges across multiple teams • Influence engineering strategy through technical leadership rather than direct management authority • Travel occasionally, up to 10%

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, including architecture and delivery of large-scale enterprise platforms • 8+ years of experience managing and developing teams in engineering, architecture, or platform technology functions • 10+ years of experience designing distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and modern software delivery practices • 8+ years of experience applying security, reliability, performance, scalability, observability, and maintainability principles to production systems • Experience influencing engineering strategy, technical standards, and delivery decisions across multiple teams or organizational boundaries • Experience with DevSecOps, site reliability engineering practices, automation, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience • Experience with financial technology, banking, payments, risk, or fraud platforms • Experience leading platform modernization, cloud adoption, or developer productivity initiatives • Knowledge of AI-assisted development, platform engineering, and engineering metrics • Experience working with geographically distributed engineering organizations • Ability to use a computer and audio equipment
