📋 Description

• Support sales and field sales engineering teams with technical knowledge of Fivetran’s internal security operations, platform features, and the security domain • Deliver timely and accurate responses to prospect and customer security questionnaires using internal tooling • Work with Legal and AppSec to maintain internal libraries for security questionnaires • Lead documentation and internal enablement efforts • Scale specialist knowledge across the sales engineering department • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align solutions with customer needs • Engage directly with prospects and customers on security architecture reviews and compliance discussions • Increase ownership of customer-facing security engagements over time • Stay current on security technologies and trends

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years as a security administrator, backend engineer, field CISO, or IT services within an enterprise or similarly complex environment • Extensive expertise with modern cloud and on-premise network architectures • Expertise with connectivity mechanisms including SSH, Reverse SSH, VPN, and PrivateLink • Expertise in data security • Ability to communicate Fivetran’s detailed security posture and influence security audiences at all levels • Experience using generative AI to accelerate and scale day-to-day workflows • Experience with trust center management platforms and security questionnaire automation software • Familiarity with Fivetran’s data integration platform, deployment methods, and security features • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform • Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, data loss prevention systems, and encryption • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, hybrid deployment models, and self-hosted deployment models • Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, HITRUST, and GDPR frameworks • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, SQL, and Python is a plus
