📋 Description

• Own the Testimonials platform end to end, including architecture, code quality, infrastructure, and production reliability • Operate and evolve the Kubernetes-based deployment, including scaling, observability, cost, and release processes • Make and document architectural decisions • Maintain and improve operational documentation • Run day-to-day delivery for the Testimonials team through scoping, sequencing, and shipping against the product roadmap • Partner with Product on roadmap tradeoffs, technical feasibility, and release planning • Set engineering standards through code review, design review, and mentorship • Lead a small team of engineers and grow their technical range and ownership • Own the engineering workstream for SOC 2 compliance, including access management, audit evidence, change control, and secure development practices • Partner with InfoSec and Compliance on controls for a regulated-industry product • Build compliance-aware features • Lead integration of Testimonials with the broader FMG platform, including shared identity, data, and adjacent business systems • Partner with FMG's AI Architecture function to bring agentic and AI-assisted capabilities into the Testimonials experience • Adopt AI-native development tooling and standards and contribute effective practices back to the small team • Report to the SVP of Engineering and partner closely with Testimonials product leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including senior or lead technical ownership of a production SaaS product • Strong hands-on experience running services on Kubernetes, including deployment, observability, and troubleshooting in production • Demonstrated ownership of a codebase end to end • Experience leading a small team or workstream: setting standards, reviewing work, and developing other engineers • Comfortable partnering directly with Product on roadmap and tradeoffs, and communicating clearly with non-technical stakeholders • Track record of shipping reliably in a small-team environment where you own more than one discipline • Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting scope in a fast-moving environment • Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or an equivalent compliance certification preferred • Background in wealth management, insurance, or other regulated financial services software preferred • Experience integrating an acquired product into a larger platform preferred • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted or agentic development tooling preferred • Experience with review, reputation, or content-moderation products preferred • Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability tooling such as DataDog or CloudWatch preferred • Must reside in one of the listed states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin
