📋 Description

• Interface with technical teams and clients to gather technical specifications for technical design and final solution delivery • Code, test, debug, implement, and document moderately complex programs • Understand requirements and scope and oversee technical work on projects • Assist developers with estimating and designing technical solutions • Ensure technical solutions align with existing systems, account standards, and quality expectations • Design, develop, and maintain data processing applications meeting customer business needs and technical considerations • Code, test, and implement computer programs in developmental and maintenance modes as needed • Define system requirements and priorities with customers and ensure daily needs are met • Develop system and programming specifications • Research and resolve application production problems • Monitor application performance and perform runtime improvement functions • Prepare system documentation • Participate in code reviews • Participate in an on-call rotation supporting 24x7 batch production environments • Provide off-hours support for patching, deployments, and incident response • Support vulnerability remediation with security teams • Participate in virtual collaboration and attend internal and client meetings by video conference

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in applications development and batch programming • Experience with Linux • Experience with C • Experience with Shell Scripting • Experience with SQL, including Oracle or SQL Server • Healthcare financial IT systems experience highly desired • Experience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for program design, creation, and testing • Strong written and oral communication skills for working with team members, support personnel, and clients • Must perform all work within the continental United States: the 48 contiguous states plus Alaska; Hawaii and US territories are not approved • Must work core business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time unless coordinated otherwise • Participate in an on-call rotation: one week every three weeks • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel • Active participation in virtual collaboration • Camera required for all internal and client meetings, interviews, and the initial week of orientation
