📋 Description

• Handle NOC escalations involving incident and problem management • Assist with resolving issues related primarily to products and technologies • Monitor core and customer connections for performance problems, utilization issues, and intrusions • Respond to and escalate anomalies promptly to help ensure 99.999% network availability • Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 escalations involving hardware, software, or protocols • Document all steps taken to resolve identified or reported issues • Interact with NOC Agents, Engineering, vendors, and customers to facilitate resolution according to established processes • Oversee the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and vendors throughout issue resolution • Independently determine and develop approaches to solutions and recommend solutions or process changes

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive understanding of complex network design • Strong engineering and operational experience in Service Provider networks • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proven ability to interact with customers while presenting complex technical issues • Knowledge of Cisco routers and switches, including Catalyst and Nexus • Knowledge of Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Cisco Firepower firewalls • Knowledge of load balancer technology, packet shaper, and wireless technology • Knowledge of Aruba switches preferred • Knowledge of Call Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, and Cisco IM&P • Knowledge of SIP, H323 gateways, and Expressway connectors • Deep understanding of WebEx Meeting, WebEx Calling, and Hybrid Calling • Knowledge of Cisco Contact Center Xpress, Cisco Expressways, and MGCP gateways preferred • Must have completed one of the listed certifications: CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Collaboration, or CCNP Security; ACSP and ACDP are additionally listed as good to have
