📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects • Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers • Deliver enhancements that drive the cost efficiency of the cloud platform • Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables • Contribute to the multi-year strategy to evolve the client's Cloud Platform • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance the compute platform

🎯 Requirements

• Targeting candidates with experience at cloud-native, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused companies such as Datadog, Cloudflare, Core Weave, Digital Ocean, Cloudera, CircleCI, Elastic, Dynatrace, or similar organizations where Kubernetes is used at scale in production environments • No targeting candidates whose Kubernetes experience is limited to UI tools, basic cluster ops, or non-engineering functions • BS, MS or Ph.D. in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience • 12+ years of relevant work experience in infrastructure • 4+ years of expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and its infrastructure as a service offering (e.g. EC2) • Experience setting technical direction, planning, and successfully executing large projects spanning multiple teams • Kubernetes experience required • Istio/Envoy experience preferred
