📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end proposal development for core and complex industrial control system offerings. • Review customer specifications, RFPs, and RFQs and submit fully costed, technically tailored bids on time. • Own deal financials and risk management, including technical, execution, and commercial risk assessment within the ITO process. • Present deals to the Commercial Review Board for approval. • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders throughout the proposal lifecycle. • Provide application engineering guidance and drive alignment across teams. • Develop competitive pricing and deal strategy with sales and pricing teams. • Use quoting tools, technical libraries, hardware configurations, and design standards to build differentiated solutions. • Coordinate with supply chain, third-party providers, and execution teams. • Manage handover from the ITO phase to the OTR phase upon contract signature. • Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes, proposal templates, and application guides. • Track performance against proposal quality, cycle time, and on-time delivery metrics.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. • Proven experience in technical sales, commercial proposals, or application engineering within industrial controls, power generation, or a related technical domain. • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, customer drawings, and contractual terms and conditions. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Ability to present complex technical and commercial content to diverse stakeholder audiences. • Preferred: Experience with industrial control systems, including DCS, PLCs, or SCADA. • Preferred: Familiarity with project risk management frameworks and commercial review processes. • Preferred: Experience managing tender schedules and multi-stakeholder bid processes. • Legally authorized to work in the United States. • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable.
