📋 Description

• Serve as a core member of the Defense & Offshore leadership team • Influence regional business strategy through field-performance insights, risk identification, and service-growth opportunities • Support end-to-end execution of complex installation and commissioning (I&C) projects, warranty claims, and site interventions • Bridge field operations, program management, regional leadership, and digital/IT teams • Synchronize maintenance strategies with internal priorities, project milestones, contractual commitments, and resource availability • Navigate site-access and logistical constraints • Align field operations with contractual obligations and commercial milestones to support customer satisfaction and project profitability • Enforce safety protocols for offshore and maritime environments and ensure compliance with EHS and site-specific mandates • Manage field service engineering staff and ensure they are certified, equipped, and trained for offshore and restricted defense environments • Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for the Field Service team • Balance emergency dispatch needs with long-term I&C schedules to maximize billable utilization • Partner with ITO and Sales teams to lead tendering for I&C proposals • Capture and price technical scope, logistics, and resource requirements to protect margins • Serve as the ServiceMax subject matter expert and advocate • Maintain accurate installed-base asset data, manage case lifecycles, and optimize dispatch workflows • Drive customer loyalty, operational profitability, and long-term service strategy

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of service management experience in the Defense, Offshore, or Maritime sectors • 6+ years of demonstrated experience leading teams of 50+ in remote or high-pressure environments • 6+ years of experience operating as a key leader within a matrixed organization across Service, Sales, Finance, and Legal • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or resource capacity management within a service-intensive environment • 6+ years of familiarity with marine systems, industrial power distribution, and/or electric propulsion architecture • 3+ years of experience working within heavily regulated environments such as naval defense, offshore oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors • Ability to synthesize complex project schedules and resource data into a coherent capacity plan • Demonstrated collaboration with Sales/ITO teams to develop service proposals, including technical scoping, risk assessment, and resource planning • Strong expertise in ServiceMax or similar Field Service Management (FSM) tools • Proven experience managing Installed Base (IB) data integrity • Deep understanding of remote/offshore site logistics, including travel, safety certifications, and site access protocols • Ability to navigate complex customer hierarchies and technical requirements in the defense/government contracting space • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances for sensitive Defense projects • Prior people-management experience, including direct reports, performance reviews, hiring, and conflict mediation • Proven track record leading field service engineers, projects, or cross-functional technical initiatives with accountability for safety, schedule, quality, and cost • Experience with LEAN principles, daily management systems, and continuous improvement methodologies • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • Shortlisted candidates are subject to heightened security checks for client critical infrastructure
