📋 Description

• Engage with public sector customers onsite and remotely throughout the pre-sales process • Deliver tailored demos, technical presentations, and hands-on workshops • Collaborate with sales to shape and execute account strategies driving GitLab adoption in government environments • Own proof of concept and proof of value design and delivery • Support tenders, audits, and technical proposal input • Create Customer Success Plans with technical success criteria and handoff details • Build relationships with technical and business stakeholders • Channel customer feedback to Product, Sales, Marketing, and other teams • Maintain expertise in GitLab, software development, operations, cloud practices, and create reusable customer and partner assets • Run Value Stream Assessments to identify software-delivery improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Background in technical pre-sales, consulting, or information technology roles • Ideally experience with U.S. public sector or federal customers • Hands-on experience using GitLab • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevSecOps, automation, modern software development, and operations practices • Experience with cloud computing platforms and related technologies in regulated or security-conscious environments • Ability to connect technical solutions to measurable business or mission outcomes • Ability to advise senior stakeholders on tradeoffs and options • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Familiarity with GitLab's Solutions Architect handbook and related resources • Openness to learning, seeking feedback, and building new skills
