📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure, virtual networks, storage, and resource groups • Manage Azure Virtual Desktop session host pools, golden image updates, and auto-scaling using Nerdio Manager • Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including directory hygiene, Conditional Access, PIM, and FIDO2 passkeys • Maintain Group Delegated Access Permissions to enforce least-privilege partner access • Serve as Tier 3/4 escalation authority for identity, Exchange Online, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure issues • Perform root cause analysis and lead complex troubleshooting efforts • Interface with the outsourced Tier 1/2 helpdesk partner to validate escalation workflows, ticket routing, and SLA performance • Author and maintain SOPs for helpdesk technicians • Partner with Security & Compliance to enforce hardening baselines, maintain SOC 2 Type II controls, and configure automated evidence gathering • Act as a secondary technical responder during incident response and execute containment actions • Write PowerShell scripts and use Microsoft Graph API to automate tenant administration, reporting, and bulk identity actions • Report directly to the Director of IT & Security Operations • Collaborate with Security & Compliance and Automation teams

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise systems engineering, cloud administration, or infrastructure delivery • Experience ideally within an MSP or high-growth multi-tenant environment • Deep proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 • Hands-on experience with Conditional Access, PIM, Intune endpoint compliance for Windows 11 and macOS, and Exchange Online • Experience with Microsoft Azure and virtualization, including VNets, VPNs, NSGs, resource groups, and Azure Virtual Desktop administration • Experience with Nerdio Manager strongly preferred • Strong scripting and automation capabilities using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API • Experience with tiered support and escalation structures • Experience collaborating with PSA/ticketing systems, specifically ConnectWise • Experience working with outsourced Tier 1/2 service desks • Ability to take ownership of technical problems, communicate cross-functionally, and manage multiple priorities • Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300), Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140), CompTIA Security+ • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience • Ability to verbally communicate effectively with clients, employees, and management • Ability to work on a computer and operate a keyboard and other devices for extended periods • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds • Required close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
