📋 Description

• Own and prioritize the delivery backlog across the canonical transformer, metadata registry, pipeline engine, external-source connectors, and API service • Translate client requirements into metadata recipes, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Run schema and requirements sessions with client domain owners • Drive unresolved design decisions to closure • Track scope discipline and prevent scope creep • Own the risk and dependency log and escalate issues early • Coordinate discovery and design, build and integrate, and validate and transfer stages • Groom the backlog, run or support Agile ceremonies, unblock developers, and coordinate testing • Partner with the Solutions Architect and Project Manager to create a sequenced, buildable plan • Represent downstream consumers and ensure API services and materialized views meet their needs • Plan and drive knowledge transfer so the client team can extend the platform and author new recipes • Communicate across the distributed delivery team and client stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager on Agile technical or platform-engineering engagements • Technical fluency with data platforms, including JSON payloads, API contracts, data models, CDC, metadata-driven architecture, versioning/deduplication logic, and CQRS • MongoDB or NoSQL data-platform experience strongly preferred • Familiarity with Java / Spring Boot delivery environments is a plus • Enterprise or regulated-industry delivery experience strongly preferred • Track record of driving unresolved decisions to closure • Strong Agile fundamentals: backlog ownership, sprint ceremonies, and estimation • Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools • Comfort managing a multi-developer, multi-QA delivery team • Excellent written and verbal communication • Experience working across time zones on a distributed delivery team alongside senior client stakeholders • Must be based in the United States • Able to work substantial overlap with a distributed delivery team and client stakeholders
