📋 Description

• Assess, plan, and execute the migration of on-premise technologies to the cloud across network, hybrid connectivity, compute, storage, databases, applications, and AI tooling • Implement multi-cloud solutions across AWS and Azure, determining standardization, native-service usage, and workload interoperability • Establish the FinOps operating model through right-sizing, compute and storage optimization, autoscaling, cost visibility, guardrails, and reduced maintenance and licensing spend • Deliver global content delivery and workload optimization for fast, efficient applications • Build multi-region high availability, disaster recovery, backup and restore, observability, and telemetry • Establish the Site Reliability Engineering discipline, including SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, incident management, blameless postmortems, on-call, escalation, and toil-reduction automation • Implement security, identity, encryption, secrets management, network segmentation, zero-trust, compliance, and data-sovereignty controls • Automate infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code and Python or PowerShell scripting • Manage cloud vendors and migration partners and improve delivery through agile and kanban • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Security to shape solutions • Mentor and develop engineers and serve as a cloud-readiness specialist

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in infrastructure and cloud engineering with lead-level scope • Hands-on experience across on-premise and cloud environments • Experience migrating on-premise systems to the cloud across network, compute, storage, and databases • Application modernization experience rather than only re-hosting • Experience implementing multi-cloud strategies and production solutions across major providers; AWS and Azure preferred • Knowledge of FinOps, including right-sizing, commitment and discount strategy, cost visibility, and reducing recurring software-maintenance and licensing spend • Experience with global content delivery, workload optimization, capacity and performance engineering, and autoscaling • Experience with multi-region high availability, disaster recovery, backup, observability, telemetry, and on-call operations • Experience establishing SRE practices, including SLOs, error budgets, incident command, blameless postmortems, on-call, and toil reduction • Experience with least-privilege IAM, secrets management, encryption, network segmentation, zero-trust, regional compliance, and data sovereignty • Experience with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and GDPR frameworks • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep • Proficiency with Python or PowerShell scripting • Use of AI for accelerating assessment, migration, and automation • Experience managing cloud vendors and migration partners • Experience with agile and kanban ways of working • Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field • Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure) a plus
