📋 Description

• Plan the Technology organization’s technical roadmap with architects • Design, build, and implement automated Kubernetes environments • Develop, maintain, and optimize Terraform scripts for Azure infrastructure • Collaborate with software engineering teams to support development cycles and high-quality output • Automate monitoring and alerting to maintain high availability and minimize downtime • Implement security automation and continuous compliance • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure and networks • Research and resolve production issues • Standardize and automate system implementation and configuration with architects and designers • Streamline Infrastructure Engineering practices • Design, deliver, and manage resilient, available, and performant services with platform engineering • Partner with network and security teams on cloud structure, connectivity, and security • Resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis for critical outages • Implement solutions for systematic failures and provide after-hours alert response support • Resolve complex issues with minimal escalation • Provide technical leadership to the Infrastructure Engineering group • Implement monitoring, automated provisioning, and self-healing automation • Report infrastructure performance and operational KPIs • Document product-supporting environments and processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required; Computer Science or Engineering preferred • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services • 5+ years building operational systems for custom software applications • Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, Event Bus architecture, Infrastructure as Code, and automation • Expert knowledge of containers/orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, AKS, and EKS • Expert continuous integration and delivery knowledge, including GitLab and GitHub Actions • Expert Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code skills • Proficiency with Chef, Packer, Puppet, and similar configuration management tools • Mastery of New Relic, Azure Insights, AWS CloudWatch, and similar monitoring tools • Expertise with PowerShell, Python, and YAML • Mastery of Kafka event bus • Expert Linux-based systems administration skills in a cloud environment • Mastery of IAM accounts and policies • Expertise with REST and GraphQL • Azure/AWS associate or higher-level certification preferred • Experience developing in .NET or Node.js preferred • Ability to provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring
