📋 Description

• Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of AWS identity, compute, storage, backups, networking, logging, and monitoring services using Terraform or similar IaC tools • Deploy, configure, harden, and maintain infrastructure across AWS and hybrid environments • Standardize reusable IaC modules and improve consistency across development, test, and production environments • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows • Troubleshoot infrastructure and automation issues to ensure reliability, performance, and mission continuity • Implement logging and monitoring improvements and actionable dashboards • Apply cybersecurity best practices and support zero-trust and compliance-aligned infrastructure operations • Collaborate with security and networking teams on secure configurations, change controls, and audit-ready processes • Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational readiness • Collaborate with engineering, security, networking, application, data engineering, and data science teams • Enable infrastructure for data pipelines and machine learning workflows • Maintain SOPs, system diagrams, and secure configuration baselines • Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust; approved adjudication required prior to onboarding • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field, or four equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree • Minimum six years of hands-on experience in AWS, cloud infrastructure, and/or enterprise IT operations • Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform for AWS infrastructure automation • Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Git, Terraform, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and Docker • Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash • Working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, zero-trust concepts, and NIST, CIS, and ISO 27000 compliance frameworks • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Kiro • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across Engineering, DevOps, and Architecture functions • Eligibility for Public Trust and ability to complete federal background screening • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or equivalent preferred • CompTIA Security+ preferred • Experience with lakehouse platforms such as Databricks or AWS S3, Lake Formation, Glue, and Athena preferred • Ability to design and optimize AWS data solutions, including migration pipelines, ETL workflows, and serverless architectures preferred • Experience with CloudWatch and Splunk preferred • Experience supporting enterprise business continuity and disaster recovery solutions preferred
