• Design, build, and test Gusto core platform services • Mentor other engineers to solve technical problems • Help scale Ruby/Rails and Javascript/React applications • Collaborate with teams to understand customer pain points
🎯 Requirements
• 8+ years of software development experience • Passion for creating scalable, efficient platforms • Experience leveraging AI tools or systems • Curiosity and experimentation with emerging AI frameworks • Experience owning multi-quarter projects • Experience with large scale refactors, performance issues • Ability to mentor engineers
