📋 Description

• Build features end-to-end across backend services and the React frontend • Use AI-assisted development and spec-driven workflows as the primary mode of work • Write core component logic by hand, especially deterministic, auditable financial calculations and validation logic • Review pull requests with architectural and security judgment • Provide backup review coverage alongside the lead engineer as needed • Mentor less-experienced engineers through pairing and code review • Judge when AI-assisted development tools are appropriate, particularly for sensitive data • Escalate broad-impact architectural decisions to the lead engineer or CTO • Build and maintain a Claims Intelligence Platform handling protected health information and producing financial recommendations

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years in full-stack engineering • Real depth in both backend and frontend work • Production experience with Python and PostgreSQL • Understanding of async patterns, database-level security, and migration discipline • Ability to review React pull requests and identify structural problems and data exposure risks • Hands-on experience building with AI-assisted coding tools daily • Good judgment about when to override AI-assisted development tools • Understanding of sensitive-data environments such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or PCI • Prioritization of audit trails and data access controls • Ability to work as a strong senior contributor without needing to be the most senior voice • Healthcare or fintech background is an advantage
