📋 Description

• Build and ship production features used by healthcare providers • Work on backend services, APIs, and frontend systems across the Hipp platform • Design and implement scalable systems supporting Hipp’s AI-native EMR and billing platform • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality features • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code • Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions • Take ownership of meaningful projects from idea to production • Help shape the architecture, systems, and product foundations as part of Hipp’s early engineering team

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals • Experience with at least one programming language: TypeScript / JavaScript, Python, Go, or Java • Familiarity with modern web development technologies, including React, Node.js, and APIs • Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity for learning new technologies • Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment • Employer-sponsored work authorization may be required; applicants must answer the United States sponsorship question • Nice to have: experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure • Nice to have: familiarity with distributed systems or microservices • Nice to have: experience with SQL or NoSQL databases • Nice to have: personal projects, open-source contributions, or startup experience • Nice to have: interest in AI systems, healthcare technology, or data platforms
