📋 Description

• Sell The Home Depot's exterior and interior products and services to customers • Travel to customers' homes for sales calls and assess customer needs • Make tailored product recommendations and develop and negotiate customized price quotes • Present warranty information and financing options • Complete sales contracts and paperwork • Take measurements using industry-standard methods to meet installation specifications • Proactively solicit and acquire new customers inside assigned The Home Depot stores and at industry events • Travel to assigned stores, maintain local relationships, educate store associates on HDIS offerings, and increase awareness of HDIS programs • Prospect for new customers and seek referrals • Attend sales and store team meetings to improve sales techniques and learn about HDIS products • Report to the Sales Manager; no direct reports • Typically travel overnight 5% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • High school diploma and/or GED typically acquired for the role • 1+ years of previous related work experience • Must continuously stand or walk and regularly lift, handle, or carry 8–20 pounds • Prior in-home or virtual sales experience preferred • Prior home improvement industry experience preferred • Prior successful lead generation experience preferred • Computer and application skills, including email, iPad, and apps • No previous leadership experience required • Certifications: None
