📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performing web applications for military exchange customers and government procurement workflows • Partner with product, UX, and backend engineering teams to deliver features that improve shopping and purchasing experiences • Uphold engineering standards for code quality, testing, performance, reliability, and compliance • Contribute to modernization efforts • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment • Collaborate and pair with UX, engineering, and product management team members • Document, review, and ensure quality and change-control standards • Work with product teams to make user stories developer-ready, understandable, and testable • Write custom code and scripts for infrastructure, monitoring, test automation, and destructive testing • Configure and modify programs and commercial off-the-shelf solutions • Create dashboards, logging, alerting, and proactive issue responses • Collaborate in agile processes and help improve team practices

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job • Minimum 2 years of work experience • Experience with React • Experience working with cloud (GCP) • AI Prompting experience (Claude) • Experience writing SQL queries against a relational database • Experience with version control systems • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks • Experience with an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java • Experience with relational or NoSQL database technology • Experience with cloud computing techniques • Experience with CI/CD tools • Experience with microservice-based architecture • Experience with modern debugging and root cause analysis techniques • Exposure to security frameworks for user and service authorization and authentication • Exposure to creating and executing unit, functional, destructive, and performance tests
