📋 Description

• Design and implement proprietary and third-party tools powering the member enrollment funnel, including eligibility verification, plan and benefit matching, signup, and activation • Influence conversion and time-to-enrollment by refining existing methods or deploying new solutions with Product and Marketing • Deliver high-quality web application code through code reviews and unit and integration testing • Apply best practices for architecture, system design, and coding standards • Spend most of the time on hands-on coding and collaborate with experienced engineers • Direct Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot in daily agentic coding workflows across planning, implementation, testing, and review • Collaborate with the team to adopt new technologies • Participate in the on-call rotation, triage reliability issues, and resolve critical enrollment-pipeline problems

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience writing readable, tested, and efficient code • Experience with Ruby (preferred) or Python • Experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL and MySQL • Experience designing scalable, maintainable, and secure APIs • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines • Exposure to LLMs and GenAI best practices • Hands-on comfort directing AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot beyond simple autocomplete usage • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, AWS preferred, and deployment tools including Kubernetes and Docker • Willingness to learn new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
