📋 Description

• Build and own Hermes Agent mobile apps on iOS and Android, from UI through supporting APIs • Deliver native-quality experiences with smooth interaction, offline resilience, push notifications, and responsible battery and data usage • Work across the mobile stack using Swift/Kotlin and a cross-platform layer such as React Native • Partner with Product and Design to turn ideas into polished mobile features and iterate using real usage data • Manage app-store submission, review processes, versioning, release pipelines, and staged rollouts • Maintain consistency between mobile, desktop, and web experiences while preserving platform strengths • Build automated tests for reliable releases across devices and OS versions • Collaborate with Research and AI teams to bring new model capabilities into the mobile app

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on mobile • Shipped and maintained production iOS and/or Android apps used by real people • Strong native mobile development skills in Swift, Kotlin, or both • Comfortable with a cross-platform framework such as React Native • Solid backend and API knowledge • TypeScript/Node.js or Python experience is a plus • Product intuition and a high standard for mobile app design and user experience • Comfortable owning features end to end in a fast-moving environment • Preferred: app-store submission, review, and release management experience on both platforms • Preferred: familiarity with offline-first architecture, local storage, and synchronization • Preferred: interest in AI agents and open-source software • Preferred: experience integrating LLM or streaming APIs on mobile
