📋 Description

• Build and strengthen the platform supporting feature teams • Work with the engineering manager to identify and plan projects • Execute platform projects using agentic engineering methods • Migrate the data layer onto RDS • Improve platform security and compliance across the multi-account AWS organization • Standardize and optimize platform logging for AI-supported troubleshooting • Implement processes and infrastructure for AI agents to autonomously open pull requests resolving dependency vulnerabilities and other issues • Deliver migration, security, and compliance work for data stores, APIs, and cloud infrastructure • Assist feature teams with data and security requests • Review and test teammates' work and review other engineers' code • Partner with feature teams and stakeholders to shape future platform capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• Production experience building backend services and APIs using an object-oriented programming language • Strong data and architecture skills • Current best practices in data modeling and system architecture • Experience securing platform-layer components, including data stores, APIs, and cloud infrastructure • Knowledge of access control, encryption, and audit logging best practices • Hands-on experience building and operating production infrastructure • Experience with infrastructure as code using CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation • Experience with CI/CD pipelines • Experience in a healthcare setting or another heavily regulated domain is nice to have • Experience building and using custom agents is nice to have • Experience with TypeScript, AWS, serverless functions, and PostgreSQL is nice to have
