📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js (NestJS) • Develop and manage the platform integrations layer for connectivity, data ingestion, and exports • Design systems for reliable job execution, retries, state management, and long-running processes • Implement orchestration patterns for complex, multi-step business processes • Design and maintain APIs and internal services integrating with external systems • Build observability through logging, tracing, and metrics • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability for high-volume event systems • Optimize performance, throughput, and latency across distributed systems • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in complex asynchronous systems • Lead medium- to large-scale feature development and coordinate with cross-functional teams • Collaborate with product and platform teams on integration requirements and SLAs/SLOs • Participate in agile processes, sprint planning, and technical discussions • Provide technical mentorship and conduct code reviews • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools • Support production systems through monitoring, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend systems • Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot) and/or Node.js (NestJS) • Experience building integrations with CRM or MAP platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 • Familiarity with no-code/low-code integration platforms such as Fivetran or Zapier • Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and JWT • Experience with third-party API patterns including rate limiting, pagination, error handling, and data transformation pipelines • Proficiency with MongoDB and relational and NoSQL data stores • Experience designing and implementing RESTful and webhook-based APIs • Understanding of software architecture patterns, cloud platforms, databases, and distributed systems • Experience with performance optimization, security best practices, and scalable system design • Ability to write clean, maintainable, production-quality code and conduct code reviews • Ability to debug complex technical issues and implement robust solutions • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical collaboration • Experience with agile methodologies, version control systems, and CI/CD practices
