• Maintain updated and accurate event records • Maintain and organize event document file storage • Assist in managing event details, including décor, catering, transportation, invitee lists, special guests, equipment, supplies, and print materials • Assist in ordering supplies, materials, and print • Assist with shipping logistics and tracking • Maintain expense and budget entries with extreme accuracy • Proactively handle arising issues and troubleshoot event-day problems • Assist with event setup, teardown, and assigned on-site event duties • Help build systems and document processes for future use • Operate with minimal day-to-day supervision while meeting performance objectives • Assist with 8 key events per year, including travel as needed
• Minimum of 2 years working in the live event or hotel industry • Experience working with live personal development events is a HUGE asset • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work in an ambiguous, ever-changing environment • Self-starter who can find answers and document processes • Ability to operate with minimal day-to-day supervision • Ability to achieve highly-objective performance measurements • Problem-solving skills • Listening skills • Alignment with the company’s core philosophy of honesty • Detail-oriented, systematic, creative, good-natured, emotionally secure, patient, optimistic, and flexible • Knows when to lead and when to follow • Willingness to assist with 8 key events per year • Must be based in one of the hiring states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, or Washington
