📋 Description

• Develop project plans, schedules, and initial budget proposals • Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with client requirements and company objectives • Lead cross-functional P&C, Station, and Quality Assurance teams, including engineers, designers, and drafters • Assign tasks and ensure effective communication and collaboration • Serve as the primary client contact, address concerns, and present progress updates • Identify technical, financial, and scheduling risks and implement mitigation strategies • Relay scope changes and milestone delays to customers • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure substation designs meet technical standards, client standards, and project goals • Manage a portfolio of projects of varying size and complexity • Develop and implement best practices and supporting tools to improve efficiency • Work safely in and around energized substations • Travel to project sites or client meetings as needed, approximately 10% of the time • Drive consistent execution through communication, status reporting, cross-functional coordination, process adherence, and proactive decision-making • Meet customer delivery requirements, revenue targets, and on-time implementation goals • Support continuous improvement of project management processes, methodologies, and tools • Participate in initiatives related to sales support, customer support, training, and engineering operations • Provide project management guidance and training as appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business • 5+ years of directly relevant experience managing engineering or infrastructure projects • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills • Technical aptitude • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills • Skilled in project planning and project management • Adaptable, results oriented, and effective at managing change • Proven teambuilding capabilities • Skilled at managing conflicts and working through to quick resolution • Active PMP certification preferred • Utility and energy industry experience, particularly related to transmission and distribution systems, preferred
