📋 Description

• Provide actuarial support across a broad range of actuarial and business needs for the Illinois Medicaid Market • Support components of capitation rate review • Draft rate advocacy communications • Perform actual-to-expected business analytics • Forecast market-specific financial results • Provide ad hoc market support for the state of Illinois • Advise executives on matters of significance and develop functional strategies • Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues • Work under the supervision of an FSA Actuary

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree • ASA plus advanced degree, recent and relevant work experience, and/or other relevant professional designations • Strong technical and communication skills • 3 or more years of technical experience • Knowledge of Medicaid regulations, programs, and state plan benefits • Experience with capitation rate development from either the state agency or payer perspective • Detailed understanding of healthcare claims • Experience developing Microsoft Power BI dashboards • Minimum home internet download speed of 25 Mbps • Minimum home internet upload speed of 10 Mbps • Dedicated work space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
