📋 Description

• Analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data for strategic and operational decisions • Evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization’s short-, medium-, and long-term financial and competitive position • Own input and reasonableness checks for assumptions in a granular Medicare Advantage underwriting margin forecast • Collaborate with data suppliers to understand data, troubleshoot problems, and conduct root cause analysis • Support monthly presentation of results to stakeholders for strategic decision-making • Enhance claims and premium forecasting methodology • Expand the model to include additional lines of business beyond Medicare Advantage Individual • Report to the Associate Director, Analytics/Forecasting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree • Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation • Ability to articulate ideas effectively in written and oral forms • MS Office proficiency in MS Word and Excel • Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) preferred • MS Office proficiency with PowerPoint preferred • Experience with DataBricks preferred • Experience with SAS or SQL Server Management Studio preferred • Understanding of Medicare Advantage Individual preferred
