📋 Description

• Design and deliver AI-powered capabilities that solve meaningful business problems • Develop solutions using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, autonomous agents, semantic search, and modern AI techniques • Own technical architecture from prototype through production deployment • Create reusable platform capabilities for future AI development • Serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor across multiple teams • Mentor engineers and raise the overall technical bar • Drive best practices in architecture, testing, deployment, observability, and operational excellence • Conduct design and code reviews and guide complex technical decisions • Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and approaches • Rapidly prototype ideas and assess business value • Help define the organization's long-term AI engineering strategy • Design cloud-native systems for enterprise-scale usage • Optimize performance, reliability, scalability, and operational costs • Develop integrations connecting AI capabilities to enterprise systems, knowledge sources, APIs, and workflows • Establish standards and foundations enabling teams to build on AI safely and efficiently • Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, and governance requirements • Define evaluation strategies for quality, accuracy, safety, and business impact • Establish best practices for AI observability, monitoring, and risk management

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience • 3+ years building or leading production AI/ML solutions • Strong experience with large language models, AI orchestration frameworks, vector search, RAG, and prompt engineering • Proficiency in Python and at least one additional modern programming language, preferably C#/.NET • Experience building cloud-native applications in Azure, AWS, or GCP • Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, system design, APIs, CI/CD, testing, and DevSecOps • Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence across teams • Experience building agentic or autonomous AI systems • Experience developing reusable AI platforms and shared services • Familiarity with model evaluation frameworks, fine-tuning, or advanced ML techniques • Experience building developer productivity or AI-assisted engineering solutions • Experience operating in regulated or highly governed environments • Open-source contributions, patents, technical publications, or conference speaking experience • Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information • Self-provided internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed
