📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications • Create accessible UIs, GraphQL APIs, and Node.js-based microservices • Build responsive, WCAG-compliant user interfaces • Optimize application performance and implement security best practices • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Vitest, Jest, or Playwright • Architect and implement scalable, domain-driven Node.js microservices • Design and develop efficient GraphQL services, including schema design and query optimization • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms using Docker or Kubernetes • Collaborate with Agile product, architecture, UX, and engineering teams • Provide technical guidance and contribute to architecture and engineering standards • Maintain documentation for APIs, microservices, and front-end components • Travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering • At least 3 years focused on full-stack development • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Vue.js, React, Lit, or similar • At least 2 years of experience developing back-end services with Node.js • Minimum of 1 year designing and implementing GraphQL APIs • At least 1 year building and deploying microservices in production • Proven experience applying Test-Driven Development • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS • Front-end performance optimization and WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards • Understanding of RESTful APIs, OpenAPI, and GraphQL best practices • Familiarity with Azure, GCP, or AWS • Docker and Kubernetes basics • Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL and SQL Server • Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB and DynamoDB • Home internet with minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
