📋 Description

• Design and provide level-of-effort estimates for changes to Insights applications • Develop high-quality modifications to application source code, processes, and architecture • Deliver fully tested code before production deployment when appropriate • Troubleshoot application bugs and issues • Coordinate with engineers to ensure comprehensive platform changes meet business needs • Recommend and implement enhancements to streamline processes and improve platform performance, availability, and functionality • Assist with project plans and capability roadmaps • Maintain current documentation of system and solution designs • Provide training to internal functional SMEs and stakeholders • Provide technical leadership to engineers working on data solutions • Translate business and analytical requirements into reliable, scalable, production-grade data solutions • Design, build, deploy, and operate data pipelines, services, and applications • Define technical standards, architectural patterns, and operational practices • Design data workflows, APIs, processing logic, and supporting infrastructure at scale • Work closely with a Solution Architect and provide technical mentorship to Data Engineers

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. work authorization is required • A technical (math, engineering, computer science) B.S. degree or equivalent work experience • Strong computer science fundamentals • 6+ years of professional software development experience • 6+ years of professional Python and SQL experience • 6+ years of professional experience with Cloud Technologies, such as Amazon Web Services • Experience working with version control systems (Git, Subversion, etc.) • Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills • Ability to learn quickly • Ability to work within a highly driven and multi-discipline engineering and product team • Experience in an agile development process and Scrum preferred • Experience with PostgreSQL preferred • Experience with Data Build Tool (DBT) preferred • Experience with infrastructure-as-code, such as CloudFormation, preferred • Experience with UNIX-based operating systems preferred • Experience with Snowflake, CloudFront, API Gateway/Lambda, ECS, Application Load Balancer, EC2, S3, VPC, and related technologies preferred • Experience with Git preferred • Experience with analytics-driven applications preferred • Experience with Healthcare Data EDI/FHIR standards preferred
