📋 Description

• Collaborate to build enterprise Android applications through the full agile software development process • Troubleshoot, design, code, and test bug fixes and new functionalities • Deliver code through an evolving CI/CD pipeline to on-premises and public cloud deployments • Protect intellectual property, user data, and system integrity by following secure software development policies and best practices • Maintain and communicate status in Jira and daily standups • Reconcile product requirements with an understanding of Android internals • Implement production-quality features for the Hypori Client app • Enhance the Hypori Client app using capabilities in the Android ecosystem • Create unit tests and execute test suites with a test automation framework • Work on a small team to solve complex problems through initiative, critical thinking, collaboration, risk-taking, and clear communication

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing mobile applications on Android • 3+ years of experience leading the development of mobile applications • Strong proficiency in Kotlin, including coroutines and Flow • Experience with Jetpack Compose for declarative UI • Familiarity with Gradle (Kotlin DSL) and multi-module Android projects • Experience with a dependency injection framework (Koin, Dagger, or Hilt) • Strong working knowledge of Kotlin coroutines and Java threading • Strong working knowledge of MVVM and unidirectional data flow design patterns • Working knowledge of Android Jetpack fundamentals (ViewModel, Lifecycle, DataStore) • Experience writing unit tests with JUnit and a mocking library such as MockK • Experience testing cloud-based applications using Amazon Web Services or Azure • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix-based operating systems • Strong understanding of git version control
