📋 Description

• Manage, plan, and implement regional environmental health and safety programs and systems • Support global EHS strategy, initiatives, and compliance oversight for assigned factories • Develop and perform global EHS programs and systems • Monitor, trend, and report EHS KPIs • Manage GHG reporting and emissions reductions • Proliferate best practices and support cost reduction • Support EICC EHS programs and audits • Build regional and global EHS talent; assist with recruiting and developing site EHS experts • Identify strengths, development needs, and succession plans • Measure direct-report performance; coach and mentor staff • Communicate with direct staff and site EHS professionals • Report risks and EHS program performance to the Senior Regional EHS Manager and Site Operations Managers • Implement global EHS programs, policies, and procedures at assigned factories • Measure and report EHS initiatives and activities • Identify and mitigate internal risk and anticipate new risks • Establish technical leadership and adopt EHS standards and technologies • Perform EHS audits and mentor site EHS resources in mitigating compliance gaps and risks • Provide technical guidance for M&A activities and oversee projects requiring external EHS consulting services • Track changes, cost impacts, cost avoidance, and forecast expenses • Influence senior leadership across organizational boundaries to advance EHS policies and programs • Build internal and external EHS networks and support adoption of relevant standards • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety, or related field • 7-10+ years of experience in an EHS field, preferably in a global/international, electronic-manufacturing company • 5+ years of experience in a leadership/management/supervisory role • Previous international/global experience is a plus • Knowledge of EHS risk assessment, mitigation, and prevention related to employee health and safety and environmental impact • Proven experience in the EHS field and adeptness in technical aspects of EHS • Ability to deal with complex and sensitive EHS issues • Emotional, political, and business acumen • Industry consortium and stakeholder engagement acumen • Proven ability to influence across organizational boundaries and influence EHS culture • High appreciation for and ability to conceptualize EHS culture • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards and systems • Proficiency with personal computers, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and email • Equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training accepted
