📋 Description

• Process end-to-end payroll for an assigned group of hourly and salaried employees • Administer wage and hour processes, including timekeeping review, exception handling, and corrections • Set up and maintain payroll records for hires, transfers, promotions, pay changes, leaves, and terminations • Handle tax profiles, direct deposits, garnishments, and PTO/Sick Time accruals • Resolve employee and manager payroll inquiries and escalate complex matters • Process employment and wage verifications, garnishments, and related documentation • Perform payroll audits and data validations and coordinate corrections • Prepare, validate, and distribute payroll reports and reconciliations • Support internal and external audit requests • Support quarter-end and year-end payroll activities, including W-2s, 1094/1095, and T4s • Support GL reconciliation and payroll-related reporting with Finance • Support HRIS/payroll platform functionality, data integrity, integrations, testing, upgrades, and process improvements • Partner with Payroll, HR Systems, and other cross-functional teams on system configuration and documentation • Collaborate with external vendors to resolve payroll issues • Maintain payroll procedures and documentation • Provide guidance and informal support to Payroll Coordinators • Protect confidential employee and company information and maintain payroll record integrity • Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety practices • Complete special projects and other duties assigned by the Payroll Manager or senior HR leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience • 4+ years of payroll, HR, accounting, or related experience, including direct responsibility for payroll processing • Strong working knowledge of payroll practices, wage and hour laws, and payroll administration processes, including multi-state payroll • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or comparable payroll systems required • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and payroll/HRIS systems • Ability to analyze and validate payroll data • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills • High level of discretion with confidential information • Strong customer service, written communication, and verbal communication skills • Ability to interact effectively with employees, managers, and cross-functional business partners • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines • Ability to identify issues and escalate complex matters appropriately • Ability to maintain accuracy while handling high transaction volumes and strict payroll deadlines • Experience supporting multi-state payroll environments preferred • Experience with Canadian payroll a plus • Experience with ADP Lyric preferred • Experience with integrated timekeeping, benefits, and financial systems preferred • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Experience with reporting tools such as ADP Reporting, Power BI, or Tableau preferred • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred but not required • Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via digital platforms • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
